In addition to our workshop facilities as Polaris Shipping we have the knowledge of ship and dry dock management system because of our own fleet.

1- Maintenance Service at Every where in Türkiye

Polaris service team has a capability to give a service at the location of Power Plant and Vessel. In order To accomplish this task The service team has been equipped with portable machining tools and measurement equipments.Pls. find some service facilities on REFERENCES .

3- Workshop service located on Tuzla Sipyard area.

Polaris Workshop & Equiments are designed and Chosen acc. to 4 stroke engine manufacturer requirements. To accomplish this task it has been equipped accordingly.

The maintenance of Cylinder heads are handled in Polaris workshop as above shown maintenance process. Summary of Job description:

  • Cleaning of valves in glass-blasting machine

  • Assembling / disassembling of Cylinder Liners
  • Cleaning / Measuring of Liners
  • Erasing of Ovality, exhibits marks via honing with diamond stones on honing machine
  • The plateau honing for removing coarse Peaks in order to provide a good carrying Surface for piston rings
  • Machining of cylinder liner sealing surfaces
  • Measurement of Roughness & dimensions
  • Reporting The Quality control system via reportig method and Measurement record pages guarantee the excellent results of engine maintenance. Polaris has began on studying to acquire ISO certification.

The cleaning of Charge air coolers are done in Ultrasonic tank of Polaris workshop. Summary of job description:
